Chandelier Installation: what to know before you start
Hanging height
As a general guide, chandeliers over a dining table hang about 30–36 inches above the tabletop; in a foyer, the bottom should clear head height with room to spare. We’ll adjust to your ceiling and sightlines.
Weight and support
A heavy chandelier should never hang from a light-duty box. We confirm the support before hanging.
Ceiling height
Tall foyers may need scaffolding or a tall ladder setup. Let us know the height when you request a quote.

How long does chandelier installation take?
A straightforward install usually takes one to a few hours. Large multi-tier fixtures or high ceilings take longer, and we’ll give an estimate with your quote.
Can you install a chandelier that has to be assembled?
Yes. We can assemble crystal and multi-arm fixtures on site. Please keep all packaging and hardware until the install is complete.
